Surface Sounds for his own imprint Cozy Music. <tfo> is a blend of electronic music, transgressing the genres of ambient, IDM, trip hop, and retro grooves. This multi-talented producer has been hired to create his signature sounds for various projects in film, TV, and Sony’s Playstation2 game
Frequency.
Mike Viele - As an accomplished musician for the past 10 years, Mike brings creativity and originality to Signal to Noise. As a sound engineer, Mike adds a technical and physical understanding of audio, crucial to the writing and recording process. Mike ran his own recording space for four years, and is currently a freelance sound engineer at Machines with Magnets in Providence, RI.
Jay Kooger - With musical stylings that include blues, folk, rock, electronic, and ambient, Jay has played and released recordings with a variety of bands and as a solo artist. In 2003, he began working as a technology consultant where he managed the licensing of intellectual properties and products to companies across various industries. In 2005, Jay decided to return to his roots and merge his two worlds as one of the founders of Signal to Noise.
Matt Everett has had a wide-ranging musical career, starting out as a classically trained mandolinist and then careening through several instruments and genres, from acoustic folk to experimental to electronic, while adding an eastern tinge with his eclectic style of playing accordion, viola, and cello. Matt has composed for films, dance pieces, and plays, and his work may be found on recordings by Bonnie Prince Billy, the Eyesores, Fern Knight, the Amoebic Ensemble, the New Nice, <tfo>, and the Espers.
